    A CGBE pillow that keeps the head still through a full set

    Clients lie still for a long time during a full set, and the pillow decides how that time feels. The U shape cradles head and neck on a 22° slope, so the neck is not left hanging, and the slow-rebound memory foam settles under the head over a few seconds instead of springing back. A large center opening holds the head in place, which means less shifting while you isolate a lash.

    Both sides have flat areas for lash trays and tweezers, and two low pockets keep spare tools close. The pillow measures about 19.17 by 12.8 by 4.53 inches. Two flannel covers come with it, so one can be in the wash while the other is on the bed, and each zipper hides at the back.

    Comfort is all the pillow claims. What happens at the eye depends on the adhesive and the artist. The FDA treats lash extensions and their adhesives as cosmetics, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology tells clients to ask for the glue's ingredient list and a spot test on the inside of the wrist first.

    1. Slide a fresh flannel cover on before each client.
    2. Settle the client's head into the center opening, neck resting on the slope.
    3. Lay your lash tray and tweezers on the flat side areas.

    Can you wash the cover of the CGBE lash pillow?

    Yes. Two flannel covers come with it and unzip at the back for washing.

    Does the CGBE lash pillow protect your client's eyes?

    No. It supports the head and neck only. The AAO advises a patch test of the lash glue on the inside of the wrist.
