About CGBE
Why CGBE
Two lines under one name, both made for the places you use every day: the work desk and the walls at home.
What CGBE makes, and for whom
CGBE makes tools for two kinds of days. On a work day you sit at a nail desk or beside a lash bed for hours, and you need light you can aim, bits that fit your drill and blades that close cleanly. At home the problems are smaller: a razor with nowhere to hang, a cabinet door with empty space inside, a birthday cake waiting for its number.
Our Pro nail & lash line is for nail techs, lash artists, estheticians and students, and for anyone who does a careful manicure at a kitchen table. Most of it travels well between the two: a cordless gel lamp that runs up to 2 hours, bits on the standard 3/32-inch shank, buffers by the pack. The Home & bath line suits renters, families and anyone tidying a bathroom or a kitchen. CGBE has been selling since 2020.
Two lines under one name
A 30.7-inch half moon light and a stainless shower hook look far apart, yet they answer the same questions. Where does the piece go, what does it hold, and how big is it? The arch clears about 14 inches so a client's hands and a curing lamp fit beneath it. A shower hook holds up to 13 lb on smooth tile once its tape has set for 24 hours.
Keeping both lines under one name means you can furnish a nail station and a bathroom wall from the same catalog. Shelves are sorted by where each piece goes rather than by what it is made of, so drill bits sit beside their holder and shower hooks beside the adhesive shelves.
Both lines are put together by the CGBE team around those same questions.
What our pieces do, and what they don't
Some limits are worth knowing before you order. The half moon lights are work lights, not gel curing lamps: gel still needs a UV/LED lamp, and the arch is tall enough for one to sit underneath. Our 10L UV cabinet dries and stores tools after washing and an EPA-registered disinfectant soak, and it does not disinfect them itself (our story on cleaning nail tools shows the steps). Buffers are single-client items in a salon, so they come in packs of 20 to 100.
On the wall, the stainless shower hooks need smooth tile, glass, mirror, acrylic or metal, and their tape needs 24 hours before it takes weight. Painted walls, wallpaper, natural stone and textured tile are the wrong surfaces for them.
Where to start
At a nail desk, start with light. A lamp that helps you see without leaning in comes before everything else, and our lamps and lights shelf has two half moon arches, a gooseneck that clamps to the desk and a cordless gel lamp. For lash work, a rolling light and the U-shaped pillow make a good first pair.
For the home, start at the wall you use most. Most of our bath and wall pieces go up without a drill on smooth tile, glass or metal, while the coat hooks screw into wood with a 6 mm bit. Setting up a station from nothing? The Pro nail & lash line gathers every desk piece in one place, and Shop all shows both lines together.
