    Thick CGBE blades for chicken, herbs and cardboard

    Blades 3.5 mm thick do not flex when they meet a chicken back or the stem of a broccoli head. They are 3CR14 stainless steel, and the full shears run 8.9 inches, long enough to spatchcock a bird and still nimble enough to snip chives over a bowl.

    Between the handles sits a toothed grip for cracking nuts and small bones. A bottle opener, notches for twisting a stubborn jar lid and a screwdriver tip finish the extras, which makes these the pair that leaves the drawer for a picnic or a camping box.

    Hand wash them with soap and water, then dry them straight away. Twelve colors are made, from clear handles to all black, so a pair can match the knife block or stand out in a busy drawer.

    How to use it

    1. Cut poultry along the backbone with the full length of the blades.
    2. Use the toothed grip between the handles for nuts and small bones.
    3. Hand wash and dry the shears right after use.
