    Round CGBE loops for a steadier hold on fine work

    These handles end in round loops, a little wider than on our pointed pair, so thumb and finger sit fully inside. That fuller hold matters on a brow, where you trim one hair at a time and the hand has nothing to rest on. The curved, extra-fine blades meet right at the tip, which is where the cut happens.

    At 3.7 by 1.96 inches the scissors are small enough for a brow kit, and six colors are made. Keep one pair for brows and another for nails, and a different color for each keeps them apart in the drawer.

    On the hands, keep them to hangnails and loose skin that has lifted. Dermatologists at the American Academy of Dermatology say not to let anyone cut or push the cuticle, since it can bring inflammation or infection. Wipe the blades and disinfect them between clients.

    How to use it
